Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan inovasi media dalam pembelajaran Aswaja yang masih didominasi metode konvensional sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang bersifat abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi media pembelajaran video animasi berbasis Canva dalam pembelajaran Aswaja kelas VII di SMP Plus Darul A’mal Kota Metro, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan uji keabsahan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi video animasi berbasis Canva pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi aktif, serta pemahaman konseptual siswa secara lebih kontekstual. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penguatan integrasi media digital kreatif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai strategi pedagogis yang adaptif terhadap karakteristik generasi digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan media video animasi berbasis Canva efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran aswaja yang lebih interaktif dan bermakna. Implikasinya menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan literasi digital dan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam pengembangan media inovatif.

Discipline is an essential aspect of character and behavior development for students in Islamic boarding schools. However, some students at Pondok Pesantren Jamiatul Ulum still face difficulties in maintaining discipline in worship, learning, and daily activities. This study aims to examine the implementation of the targhib wa tarhib method in effectively enhancing students’ discipline. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was used, including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed inductively following Miles and Huberman’s model, including data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the targhib wa tarhib method is implemented in three stages: planning (establishing rules, schedules, and discipline indicators), implementation (providing positive reinforcement through praise, prayer, exemplary behavior, and simple rewards, alongside gradual educational sanctions), and evaluation (monitoring behavior and providing further guidance). Initially motivated by praise or fear of sanctions, students gradually develop discipline as personal awareness and responsibility. Therefore, the targhib wa tarhib method effectively shapes students into well-mannered, polite, and responsible individuals

The development of digital technology has transformed learning into a more interactive process through media such as Quizizz and similar platforms, thereby increasing students’ motivation and participation. In Islamic education, this innovation supports the contextual delivery of Islamic values while strengthening students’ digital literacy. This study describes the implementation of digital-based learning media through the Quizizz platform in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) to strengthen the 5S character values (Salam, Sapa, Senyum, Sopan, and Santun — greeting, addressing, smiling, politeness, and courtesy) among students of classes X2 and X3 at SMAN 1 Sekampung Udik. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation of Quizizz was carried out through structured stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation under teacher supervision and in accordance with school regulations. Interactive quiz-based learning encouraged students to be more active, enthusiastic, disciplined, and accustomed to applying 5S values in classroom interactions. Thus, digitalbased learning media through Quizizz is able to provide innovative and effective Islamic Religious Education while strengthening contextual and well-controlled Islamic character education.

Implementation of Yellow Book Learning as an Effort to Improve the Quality of Students at the Darul Ulum Seputih Banyak Islamic Boarding School, Central Lampung. Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that have characteristics in their learning, namely studying and studying classical books written by scholars. This research was conducted in the environment of the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Tanjung Harapan Village, Seputih Banyak. The purpose of this study was to examine the implementation of yellow book learning at the Darul Ulum Seputih Banyak Islamic Boarding School, regarding the benefits of learning yellow books, and to determine the factors that inhibit and support learning yellow books. This research is a field research using a qualitative research model with a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the madrasah research are Islamic education management which is proven by the use of a classical or traditional system as a learning method, the use of a classical system, namely by grouping lessons in stages, or also within the time frame needed for education. One form of implementation of Islamic education is the madrasah. Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that have unique characteristics in their learning, namely studying and studying classical. This study examines the effectiveness of Kitab Kuning learning in enhancing fiqh understanding among Class II Isti'dadiyah students at Darul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School. The research employs a quasi-experimental design, comparing the fiqh comprehension of students exposed to Kitab Kuning learning with those receiving conventional instruction. The findings indicate a significant improvement in fiqh understanding among students taught using Kitab Kuning, suggesting its potential as a valuable educational approach in Islamic boarding schools.
