Abstract This study aims to examine the application of art and culture in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning through an interdisciplinary approach at SMA Al-Qur'an Tri Bhakti At-Taqwa. The main issue is the limited range of contextual learning methods in PAI, which tend to be theoretical and fail to address students' affective aspects and character development. Therefore, an innovative approach is needed to integrate Islamic values with art and culture elements relevant to students' lives. This research uses a qualitative, descriptive approach, drawing on observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of learning activities. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that integrating art and culture into PAI learning enhances students' interest and participation and strengthens their understanding of Islamic values. The integration of art, such as religious music, calligraphy, and Islamic-themed performances, helps shape students' character to be moderate, tolerant, and virtuous. Thus, art and culture serve as an effective medium for shaping a holistic Islamic character relevant to the demands of the times within the school environment.
