Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the Arabic language textbook for secondgrade students at an Islamic elementary school based on the Independent Curriculum, with reference to the standards set by the National Education Standards Agency. The research employs a qualitative approach in the form of library research and content analysis. The data consist of the textbook’s content, which includes aspects of content feasibility, presentation, language, and graphic design. The findings indicate that, in general, the Arabic language textbook for second-grade students at the Islamic elementary school meets the feasibility standards established by the National Education Standards Agency. In terms of content, the materials are appropriate to the learners’ characteristics and aligned with the learning outcomes of Phase A of the Independent Curriculum as well as the values of the Pancasila Student Profile. Regarding presentation, the book is organized systematically and sequentially, although the variety of learning activities remains limited. In terms of language, the use of vocabulary and structures is simple and appropriate to the students’ cognitive development; however, some inconsistencies remain in the writing of diacritical marks and transliteration. As for graphic design, the visual appearance is sufficiently attractive and contextual, though improvements in print quality are needed in certain sections. Therefore, the textbook is considered suitable for use as instructional material, although further improvements are still necessary to achieve a higher level of quality.
