Integrasi Nilai PSHT dan Kearifan Lokal dalam Membangun Ukhuwah Islamiyah di Era Modern
This study aims to analyze the integration of Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) values and local wisdom in building Ukhuwah Islamiyah in the modern era, focusing on PSHT Rayon 29 Banjarsari, Metro Utara. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with trainers, senior members, novice members, and community leaders, as well as documentation. The findings reveal that PSHT values such as brotherhood (Setia Hati), self-control, simplicity, and the philosophy of Memayu Hayuning Bawono are strongly aligned with local wisdom values, including mutual cooperation, deliberation, and respect for elders. The integration of these values is manifested through routine training, social services, community event security, and participation in religious activities. This integration significantly contributes to strengthening Ukhuwah Islamiyah, reflected in mutual respect (al-ihtiram), cooperation (ta’awun), and peaceful conflict resolution. Furthermore, the study finds that this integration plays an important role in countering negative stigma toward PSHT as a violent organization. The implication of this study suggests that PSHT can serve as a model for youth character development based on cultural and religious values relevant to modern challenges.
